On Sunday January 24th 2016, my roommates and I finished constructing an igloo in our backyard in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Shortly after that, we listed the igloo for rent on Airbnb for the price o $200 per night. Some people online were convinced this was an actual stunt for AirBnB. However, it was really just my friends and I being idiots.

We described the igloo as: "Dripping with ingenuity and alt-lifestyle aura lays the Snowpocalypse of 2016's most desirable getaway. Hand-crafted, and built using only natural elements– we're offering the experience of a lifetime in this chic dome-style bungalow for you and bae."

While it got some attention from friends after posting the link on Facebook, we didn't think much off it. The next morning we were not prepared for the media storm that surrounded it. Overall the story was picked up in over 100 countries and in more than 10 languages. You can view some of the clips and articles below.

We were happy to see that we made it to Adweek. I was also told that one of my quotes should be one day featured on my headstone:

"I don't know if I should be excited or depressed about the fact that my largest achievement in life so far has been building an igloo in my backyard."

News 12 Brooklyn also came and did a feature on us. They let me tell them the history of our igloo, as well as how it was helping our Tinder game.

We were lucky enough to make into Magazines/Articles such as Esquire

The only unfortunate part about this whole experience was that New York Post printed that I was a 'hipster'.
