Steph Curry is a hacker on the court. He plays the game different than anybody has played. He doesn't have the expected build or body of an NBA star. His constant smile seems like he is almost mocking his opponents. So to introduce the world to his new shoe, we figured that he better hack his ads in the same way that he hacks the game. Each spot was designed to look like a local commercial in a different city where the Warriors were playing an away game.

 
 

CHINA

The Chinese market is a very big one for both Steph Curry and for UA. So it was important that this campaign extended there. Unfortunately, the concept of a local advertisement does not exist in China. So, in its place, we created a fake promo for a fake Daytime-Television Chinese Soap Opera.
